Heroes: Family Secrets and Dark Forces
The story begins with businessman John Kalathil. He runs the KD Industries business, which was started by his father, Kalathil David, in 1985. But the business is facing major financial problems. Meanwhile, John mysteriously disappears, and his body is later found in the water five days later. The post-mortem report shows that he has been dead for only four days, and the body has been in the water for only two days. The police suspect that this is not a suicide, but a premeditated murder.
After John’s death, his wife Elizabeth is left alone with their daughter Pearly. Devanarayanan, an old friend who helped John find solutions to his business problems, advises Elizabeth to take charge of KD Industries. However, John’s relatives, who are shareholders in KD Industries, oppose this decision and accuse Elizabeth and Devanarayanan. Shortly after, Elizabeth also dies mysteriously in a car accident in the same area where John died. Before dying, she says the name ‘Seven Hills’.
Having lost both her parents, Pearly is taken in by John’s trusted friend, Balattan. But an unknown gang kidnaps Pearly. Devanarayanan and Balattan try to find Pearly and protect her. They discover that the ‘Seven Hills’ Elizabeth last mentioned is a gathering place for a demon worshipping gang led by John’s father, Kalathil David (Pearly’s grandfather).
Kalathil David, with the ambition of ruling the world, is engaged in demon worship to increase his power. Because he did not agree with his ideas, he killed his son (John) and daughter-in-law (Elizabeth). His plan was to sacrifice Pearly to the devil on a special day, which was her birthday, and become the emperor of the world after she was reborn as the daughter of the devil.
Finally, Devanarayana, Balattan and a young man named Hemand who helps them break into ‘Seven Hills’ with the help of the police, foil Kalathil David’s plans and save Pearly. After this incident, the dangerous consequences of seeking success through shortcuts and the dark side of blind beliefs are revealed to society.
