I want to connect manticore search engine, aka sphinxsearch fork, to wordpress site. It is a standalone service that is installed on the server and works as a proxy for sql queries on a separate port. The question is to change the wordpress search query so that it connects to this alternate port
I’ve been searching the internet for a week now, but haven’t found anything. Only found how to change query parameters (for example, to add search by tags).
