Shankar, a chicken vendor, has his wife, Shrija, and their daughter go missing. Thinking that her husband is missing, Shrija goes to the house of Periyavar, a local powerful man, and accuses him. She threatens him that if anything happens to her husband, she will not forgive anyone. Meanwhile, Shankar goes to the police and files a complaint that his wife and child are missing. He suspects that Periyavar and his son Kannan are behind this.
The Superintendent of Police (SP) has a personal grudge against Periyavar and Kannan. He takes advantage of this opportunity to ‘encounter’ them. The police bury an unidentified female body in Periyavar’s garden and try to arrest them by passing it off as Shrija’s.
To save his son’s life, Periyavar seeks help from his old friend Kali. He tells Kali to kill the SP. Although Kali initially refuses, when Kannan threatens his family, he reluctantly agrees to help Periyavar. Kali attempts to plant a bomb on the Superintendent of Police, but fails.
Later, Kali joins forces with the Superintendent of Police to help trap Kannan. After Kannan learns of Kali’s betrayal, in the ensuing confrontation, Kali kills Kannan. Eventually, Periyavar tries to take revenge on Kali, but with the help of the Superintendent of Police, Kali escapes with her family.
