Kavita’s world was her only son, Rohan. After the death of her husband, she devoted all her dreams, hopes, and energy to Rohan. They lived in a small village in the Himalayas, where she did everything to provide her son with an education. Rohan was brilliant and managed to get into a big university in the city. Kavita felt the pain of being separated from her son, but she was very proud of his success.
Years passed, and Rohan pursued his dreams and reached success in the big city. Kavita’s journey was limited to phone calls and short video calls. However, as Rohan got used to the busy life, he gradually became distant from his mother. He avoided answering her calls, and his willingness to visit her gradually decreased. Although Kavita felt lonely, she could bear it knowing that her son was happy.
One day, Rohan’s life changed completely. He was accused of a major fraud in his company. He lost his job and had to face a police investigation. His friends abandoned him, and his future was bleak. He could not prove his innocence. Rohan, in despair, finally called his mother.
Hearing the sadness in his voice, Kavita realized that her son was facing some misfortune. She immediately decided to leave her village and move to the big city. When she arrived in the city, she was faced with a different Rohan. He was scared, broken and hopeless. Kavita could not bear this. She decided to fight for her son.
She started meeting people who had testified against her son. Using her mother’s natural intelligence and love, she was able to expose their lies. She met an old friend from Rohan’s company, who, after seeing her boundless dedication, revealed the truth. He said that Ravi, a colleague of Rohan, had betrayed him to profit from Rohan’s projects. Kavita found out confidential information about the transactions made by Ravi.
Eventually, Kavita gave evidence to the police and Rohan’s company. Due to her persistence, Ravi was found guilty of the fraud. Rohan’s name was cleared and he was reinstated. Kavita not only saved the life she gave to her son, but also restored his lost respect. It was then that Rohan understood the value of his mother. He vowed to never forget her love and dedication.
The film “Maa” ends with Rohan going to the village with his mother. Even though he has everything now, he realizes that a world without his mother is nothing to him. Through this, the film shows that a mother’s love and dedication cannot be measured in money or words, and is the strongest force in the world.
