The story unfolds as a group of seasoned ex-soldiers plan a high-risk heist. Their goal is to steal a shipment of advanced military weapons, including high-powered Stinger missiles, that is being temporarily transferred from a military base to a general warehouse on Christmas Eve. The plan is provided by a team member named ‘Morley’, who has worked at the warehouse for three years. Their plan is to silence the warehouse’s only security guard, ignore the security cameras, and quickly steal the weapons before fleeing. They also plan to sell the stolen weapons to a group led by an Arab named ‘Amir’ for $2.2 million.
As planned, the team breaks into the warehouse, kills the security guard, and loads the weapons into a van before fleeing. However, upon reaching the deserted construction site where the Arab buyers are to meet, a member named ‘Chuck’ reveals that the boxes they have stolen do not contain Stinger missiles, but instead contain something extremely mysterious and dangerous. He says that the ‘Yama’ attacked him, and that he was unable to stop it even after he fired his entire ammunition at it. Later, it is suspected that this mysterious ‘Yama’ is a high-tech ‘machine’ or ‘robot’.
In the meantime, they meet the Arab buyers. The deal is canceled due to the failure to deliver the promised Stinger missiles, and a fierce gunfight breaks out between the two sides. The group of soldiers steals the Arabs’ money and flees the scene. Fleeing in the middle of a snowstorm, they take shelter in a nearby deserted house. There, they meet a wheelchair-bound Vietnam War veteran who lives alone in the house.
Before long, the television news begins to report on their robbery and their threat to national security. At that moment, the mysterious machine that had been following them breaks into the house. Fear, suspicion, and distrust spread throughout the group. ‘Chuck’ claims that the machine is a deadly bomb created by the military that can even take out a man’s heart, and that he has committed a grave sin by betraying the military. Shocked and remorseful, he commits suicide by locking himself in a garage with the stolen money and a stash of dynamite found in the house.
Now only the team leader ‘Moseley’, ‘Reardon’, and the war veteran in the house are left. The three of them decide to face the deadly machine together. They carefully set a trap and finally manage to detonate the machine using dynamite. Mosley tries to escape, but the police arrest him.
While being held at the police station, Mosley warns the police officers that he is a former Marine and that they are not facing ordinary criminals, but a very dangerous, secret weapon created by the government. However, the officers do not believe his story. Unfortunately, when one of the parts of the destroyed machine, which functions as a bomb, is brought into the police station as evidence, it is activated and a massive explosion occurs, destroying the entire police station. Many people, including officers, are killed in this massive destruction. News services report this incident to the world as a terrible terrorist attack planned and launched by Mosley, who is in custody.
