The Story of Abby, Max, and Santa Monica
Abby Flores is a high school senior. She dreams of having her first sexual experience with her crush, Max Warren, the popular boy at school. When Max breaks up with his girlfriend Mercedes, Abby sees this as her chance. But Abby knows nothing about sex. She seeks advice from Bernie, the school’s lucky charm, who wears a dog costume. He says that Max really likes the “69” position.
Abby, unaware of this, goes to an adult-only club called “Diamond Dolls” to get some help. There, she meets a talented dancer named Santa Monica (Santi). Abby is impressed by her confidence and talent. Meanwhile, Betty Spaghetti, the owner of the Diamond Dolls club, is in danger of losing the club to a nefarious Rick Richards, who is unable to pay off a $20,000 debt.
Abby decides to pay Santa Monica $20,000 she earned playing online games and get the sex advice she needs to win over Max. Santa Monica plans to save the club with the money.
Santa Monica teaches Abby self-confidence, how to walk in high heels, how to be happy with her body, and the basics of sex. In the process, the two become good friends. However, when Abby is unable to pay Santa Monica the full amount she promised, they have a falling out. Santa Monica worries that she will lose the club and her job.
Abby later learns that Max, like her, is sexually inexperienced, was a virgin even when he was with Mercedes, and that “69” is the number of a football player he likes. Realizing her mistake, Abby decides to hold a special concert at the Diamond Dolls to raise money to help Santa Monica. Her friends from school also help her in this.
Although the concert is a success, the full amount needed is not raised. At that moment, Santa Monica’s old school friend Robin Goode (whose husband is a regular at the Diamond Dolls) comes forward and gives the rest of the money. Thus, it is possible to save the club from Rick Richards and give its ownership to Santa Monica.
Abby and Santa Monica become friends again. Abby also shares her feelings with Max, and the two share their first kiss.
At the end of the story, Abby’s parents come home to find Abby happily with Santa Monica, Lily Rose (a neighbor girl), and Max. When asked about everything that happened, Abby says, “I made a friend,” implying that it was her greatest achievement.
