Young DJ arrives at a small house in the mountains for a vacation with his father and family. There he meets Rocco and his girlfriend Marina. Rocco and DJ have a conversation, during which Rocco explains why he brought Marina. Rocco’s father then arrives and objects to Rocco and Marina’s arrival. Marina is sick and has to stay in DJ’s room. Rocco’s father warns Rocco that DJ is a very volatile character and that he should not hide anything from Marina.
The next morning, a woman named Ruth arrives. After meeting her, DJ learns that Vincent had another marriage before he got married. Ruth and DJ then have a conversation, where Ruth says she was drugged and remembers waking up in a storage room, remembering the last time she was on drugs. Ruth and DJ are chatting happily when Vincent’s wife arrives.
Rocco then tells his wife a story, where he respects Johnny and that he takes care of Marina. Rocco also says that he got Johnny’s permission for Marina and Rocco to have a relationship. Rocco’s mother then comes in and says she needs a drink, and Rocco takes her out.
Ruth and Vincent then have an argument, where Ruth tells Vincent that Vincent should think about himself more than Rocco. She also tells him that if Rocco makes a bad decision, it’s not Ruth’s fault. Vincent then breaks up with Ruth.
Later, while Rocco and Marina are in a room, Rocco tells Marina that he is scared, and Marina tells him that he doesn’t have to be scared and that she will take care of him.
