A fight against political corruption
Bhavani and her family were running a traditional biryani restaurant, when one day their business was ruined by a local politician, Adaikalraj. The entire family was left destitute, and their grandfather was hospitalized.
At this point, lawyer Poongundran came to the aid of the family. He was trying to expose Adaikalraj’s corrupt practices. Adaikalraj had been running fake medical camps to deceive the poor and embezzling their insurance money.
However, Poongundran was killed. Bhavani’s family found his body and planned to use it to withdraw Rs 10 crore from the bank. Poongundran planned to return this money to 28 poor families who had been defrauded by Adaikalraj.
The bank manager, Kesavan Kutty, was a very caring person, but Bhavani’s family successfully took the body to the bank using robotic technology. However, Adaikalraj’s killers followed them.
In the end, the truth was revealed. The money was distributed to poor families as planned by Poongundran. Adaikalraj was expelled from the party, and his corrupt practices were exposed to the media.
This story shows the importance of fighting for social justice. Although Bhavani’s family initially planned to commit a fraud, they ultimately decided to do the right thing. Even after Poongundran’s death, his philosophy prevailed.
The story also raises issues of religious and caste differences. A Christian priest gives advice to a Hindu woman, showing that religious differences are irrelevant in human relationships.
In the end, truth and justice win, and corrupt politicians are punished. This speech emphasizes the importance of speaking out against injustices against ordinary people.
