The Hunt for the Unicorn
Elliott Kintner, with his teenage daughter Ridley, was traveling to their remote lodge to meet their wealthy bosses, the Leopold family. Elliott’s hopes were to secure a position as a representative on the company’s board of directors. On the way, their car unfortunately hit a mysterious horned, horse-like creature. Ridley, unable to watch the creature suffer, compassionately killed it.
They arrived late at the lodge, and the Leopold family found the dead creature in the car. Surprisingly, the animal’s horn and blood were discovered to have miraculous healing properties. It cured the Leopold family’s head, Odell, of cancer and even cured Ridley’s acne.
With this discovery, the Leopold family’s greed was exposed. Without any regard for morality or rarity, they decided to exploit the animal for profit. But Ridley felt a strange connection with the animal and opposed their plans.
Soon after, another large unicorn attacked the lodge in search of its calf. The attack killed several people, including Odell and researcher Dr. Song. Elliot and Ridley tried to escape, but Elliot ultimately sacrificed his life to save his daughter.
After the incident, the surviving Ridley and Leopold’s son, Shep, were found by the authorities. They became suspects in the “great bloodshed”. Ridley revealed that she had a vision that could be about an afterlife involving her mother and the unicorns.
