Web Growth Strategist

We are looking for a Web Growth Strategist for a 12 month contract to help us drive traffic, trials and leads on Hootsuite.com and other key web properties. You’ll be working with developers, writers, designers, analysts, and other marketing and sales experts to ideate, prioritize and execute strategies to optimize conversion of qualified traffic. While working remotely in Canada or the United States and/or in a hybrid work arrangement, a blend of virtual (in accordance with Hootsuite’s distributed workforce strategy), or in Hootsuite’s Vancouver, Toronto or Atlanta office, you'll report to our Manager, Web Acquisition.


  • Ideate, prioritize, build, and launch strategies, campaigns, and projects that generate traffic, and/or optimize conversion rates
  • Create wireframes, map user journeys, plan web content hierarchies, launch experiments, build web pages, and report on performance for new and existing properties
  • Ship, test and iterate rapidly in order to achieve incremental growth, or big wins
  • Analyze performance and draw insights that allow you to prioritize your work based on business impact
  • Manage your projects autonomously but collaboratively, owning your results and fearlessly reporting on success, failure or valuable lessons
  • Collaborate with the web team and other digital channels to hit our ambitious revenue and acquisition targetsEnsure that Hootsuite.com provides a best-in-class web experience for prospects and customers alike by participating in QA, brainstorming, audits and competitive analyses


  • Significant relevant experience in conversion rate optimization, growth marketing, and/or web strategy. Experience working in B2B SaaS or digital marketing agencies.
  • Very strong understanding of conversion optimization and experimentation principles
  • Expertise in web analytics (GA4, FullStory, Lookerstudio, Tableau)
  • Experience using personalization and experimentation tools like Mutiny and 6Sense
