I've a time series of stock prices throughout the day and binary outcome variable (action) which is BUY/ NO ACTION associated with those prices.

The goal is to predict if there's a correlation between stock prices and action variable.

Not sure if logistic regression or decision tree would be the way to go. Which one do you think will make sense?

Is decision tree possible given that there are not too many nodes to work with? I think random forest will be an overkill. FYI I'm not familiar with NNs.

Please advise on best approach to model such a data.
