WHY SPRYKER?

As the VP of Ecosystem at Spryker, you will be responsible for leading the strategic development and execution of our ecosystem-led growth strategy. This business critical role will report directly to the CRO and drive the growth and success of our global channel and alliances network. This role will oversee our Solution Integration partners, Consultancies, Agencies, Technology partners, and our strategic alliance with AWS.

You will be a visionary leader who can craft and implement a fully integrated ecosystem strategy that aligns with Spryker's overall business objectives and ecosystem-led go-to-market motion. Your deep understanding of the SaaS/PaaS industry and experience building successful and highly contributing partner ecosystems will be essential in this role.

YOUR CHALLENGES & OPPORTUNITIES

Ecosystem Strategy and Vision:

  • Develop and execute a long-term, integrated, global ecosystem strategy that supports Spryker's business goals and growth initiatives across the different partner types
  • Identify and prioritize key ecosystem opportunities, including new partner types, verticals, and geographic regions.
  • Establish clear objectives, KPIs, and roadmaps to measure the ecosystem's success.
  • Continuously assess the ecosystem landscape and adapt the strategy to capitalize on emerging trends and market dynamics.
  • Craft a fully integrated sales-channel strategy aiming for significant partner contribution as part of the overall ecosystem-led growth corporate strategy and approach.

Partner Ecosystem Management:

  • Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and management of Solution Integration partners, Technology partners, and the AWS alliance.
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with partners to align on shared goals and drive mutual success.
  • Develop and implement partner engagement programs, including training, co-selling, co-marketing, co-developing, incentives, and joint go-to-market initiatives.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between partners and cross-functional teams within Spryker.

Ecosystem Growth and Optimization:

  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities that can expand the reach and capabilities of the Spryker ecosystem and enhance the value-based playbooks.
  • Work directly with our revenue operations team to implement processes and tools to manage the partner lifecycle, from recruitment to retention and expansion.
  • Analyze partner performance data and market trends to optimize the ecosystem and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with sales, (partner-)marketing, partner success, and product teams to integrate the ecosystem into Spryker's overall go-to-market strategy.

Thought Leadership and Advocacy:

  • Serve as the face of the Spryker ecosystem, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and partner forums.
  • Engage with industry analysts, influencers, and the broader SaaS community to position Spryker as a leader in ecosystem-driven innovation.
  • Inspire and motivate the Spryker team and partners through your passion, vision, and strategic execution.
OUR EXPECTATIONS
  • Proven track record of building and leading successful partner ecosystems in the SaaS or technology industry, preferably globally. Digital commerce experience preferred.
  • Extensive experience in developing and executing ecosystem strategies that drive significant revenue growth, customer acquisition, and partner satisfaction.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS and cloud marketplaces, market trends, and the evolving role of partner ecosystems in driving business success.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively engage with C-suite executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, identify and capitalize on market opportunities, and lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Passion for innovation, technology, and the power of collaborative ecosystems to transform industries.
  • First principled thinker who enjoys the complex problems of ecosystem-led growth with a beginner’s mind.
  • Experience in generating significant portions of the business with large GSIs, via Cloud Marketplaces and with Technology Partners
  • Experience and clear track record in shaping and executing an Ecosystem Led Growth Approach with significant co-selling between internal Sales teams and partner organizations
