Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Finance and BizOps Management Leader eager to excel in designing and operationalising a financial strategy, co-leading the investment process and running revenue operations, while being enthusiastic about working in a close-knit team, with a co-creation mindset and excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Acting as a direct leader for Business & Financial Operations Analyst and Sales Operations Specialist
  • Co-shaping the Finance and BizOps strategy and owning a cross- team planning and execution processes
  • Crafting and overseeing performance of the Financial Strategy
  • Leading an Annual Financial Audit, delivering Annual Financial Summary and owning Annual Budgeting and Execution processes
  • Managing cash-flows and providing financial optimisation
  • Identifying potential financial risks and implementing risk mitigation strategies
  • Adhering to all financial and corporate governance regulations and standards, ensuring that the company complies with tax laws, financial regulations, and other legal requirements
  • Setting Revenue Strategy with functional RevOps Strategy by aligning sales, marketing, customer success, and other teams to drive growth and maximize revenue
  • Co-leading Investment Process along with the CEO: including strategizing, conducting negotiations and providing all analysis and data required
  • Providing Investors and the Board with all recurring and on-demand reports and analysis
  • In consultation with senior management co-designing and maintaining cross-company data architecture and flow
  • Overseeing contract negotiations and ensuring legal approval in all necessary decisions and processes, including internal compliance, GDPR, intellectual property protection, contracts, and supplier relations and other
  • Enabling the Finance and BizOps team to thrive, by providing psychological safety and rational accountability
  • Ensuring timely, transparent communication and smooth intra- and cross- team collaboration
  • Fostering accountability and feedback culture within the team (give, solicit and receive ongoing feedback and encourage others to do so)
  • Keeping team members focused on common goals and take responsibility for teams KPI’s and OKR’s
  • Cooperating closely with other departments on company-wide initiatives and company strategy execution


Qualifications

We are looking for a person with:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in an area related to finance and business analytics - must have
  • Proven track record of strategically managing finances, including significant experience in financial planning, risk management and financial reporting - must have
  • Hands-on experience with shaping and articulating Finance strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals - must have
  • Experience with co-shaping monetization strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the perspectives of multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, marketing, customer support
  • Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written and spoken narrative
  • Hands-on experience and excellent understanding of collaborating with and reporting to external authorities
  • Pragmatic approach to implementing solutions, ensuring they match current needs and strategic company goals
  • Experience of smooth cooperation with C-level executives
  • A strong aspiration to become a a participative leader who enables, motivates and unites the whole team to achieve common goals - first leadership experiences are an advantage but not a must have
  • Nice to have: A deep understanding of investor perspectives, particularly in venture capital (VC) and private equity (PE) realms
  • Proven ability to collaborate in a constructive and harmonious way with company leaders
  • Team player attitude with exceptional communication skills and positivity
  • Fluent Polish and C1 level of English
  • Resilience that helps to eagerly embrace FAILs as First Attempts In Learning in the process of experimenting and testing
