The story revolves around a married couple, Vasantha and Aranya. They move to a new house and encounter many strange events there.
Vasantha and Aranya arrive at a new house on the beach. It is located in an isolated area and they are the only residents there. When the power goes out at night, Vasantha goes to turn on the generator. But when he does not return, Aranya calls the emergency number.
From here, the story takes a surprising turn. It turns out that both of them are trapped in parallel realities. When they travel from one reality to another, they see copies of themselves. This is similar to the concept of superposition in quantum physics.
Vasantha now realizes that he and Aranya are trapped in separate realities. He tries to find Aranya and meets Manohara, a character involved in two old murders. Manohara says that this place was a secret research laboratory during the British rule, and its influence is still there after an accident in 1941.
Manohara says that the Super Moon opens the gates between these realities. Vasantha has 45 minutes to find the reality where Aranya is. Eventually, Vasantha and Aranya meet each other. But it is not clear whether this is their original reality. The story emphasizes that only one person can exist in one reality.
The story ends with Vasantha and Aranya together. But which reality they are in is problematic. The story makes us think about parallel realities, the illusion of time, and the complexity of relationships.
